19 Oakfield Place, Clifton a 2-bedroom end terrace that was demolished in order for a 4 story, 4 bedroom townhouse to be built.

About the Contract
We began work on this contract in March 2020 with a 6-week completion scale. It started with a soft strip removing the kitchen, doors and bathrooms. The building was then hand demolished in order to limit noise in the built up conservation area. Once the demolition was completed and muck away was removed offsite the site was pinned out and excavation work on the tight site was completed. Following on with 4.5 tons or rebar tying and mains sewer connection. The project was finished of with a 32-meter concrete boom pumping 48 cubic meters of concrete on the basement floor which was then float finished ready for the bricklayers to start.

About the Clifton Area
Known mostly for it’s suspension bridge Clifton is lined with grand Georgian townhouses and crescents. The village is home to upscale boutiques and quirky indie shops. The fizzing bars and restaurants around Whiteladies Road are packed with students and locals. Clifton down is also popular for kite flying and the Bristol Zoo Gardens that is home to gorillas and meerkats to name a few.
